AFTERCARE
Candle Aftercare Guide
First Burn = Most Important
Let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar on the first burn. This helps prevent “tunneling” and sets the memory for even, clean burns every time.

Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch. It keeps the flame steady, prevents smoke, and makes your candle last longer.

Burn in Intervals
Burn your candle for 2–4 hours max at a time. This keeps the wax even, protects the scent, and prevents overheating.

Snuff, Don’t Blow
Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick in wax to extinguish the flame. It reduces smoke and keeps your wick in great shape.

Keep It Clean
Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax pool before lighting to avoid soot or uneven burning.

Safety First
-
Always burn within sight
-
Keep away from drafts, curtains, kids & pets
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended
End of the Road
When only ½ inch of wax remains, it’s time to retire your candle. Repurpose the jar—because your shelf deserves pretty things.

Easy Cleaning
Wipe your tray gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, or soaking in water—these can damage the finish.

Avoid Excess Water
Our trays are water-resistant but not waterproof. Don’t leave them soaking or exposed to puddles. Quick spills? Wipe them up fast!

Keep Away from Direct Sunlight
Prolonged sun exposure can fade colors or affect the finish. Display your tray in a cool, shaded spot to preserve its beauty.

No Hot Pots or Flames
Avoid placing hot pots, pans, or open flames directly on the tray. Candles in jars or warm mugs are perfectly safe though!

Handle with Care
Though durable, handmade trays can chip or crack if dropped or knocked hard. Treat it like the treasure it is.

Unique Patterns
Remember, each tray is one-of-a-kind! Slight variations and natural imperfections make your tray truly special.

Handwash Only
To preserve the delicate finish and clarity, always wash your glass cups by hand using warm water and mild soap. Avoid dishwashers—they can be too harsh.

Use a Soft Cloth or Sponge
Clean gently with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Steer clear of scrubbing pads or harsh cleaners that can scratch or dull the glass.

Avoid Extreme Temperature Changes
Don’t pour boiling hot liquids directly into a cold cup or vice versa. Sudden temperature shifts can cause cracks or breakage.

No Microwave Use
Handcrafted glass cups are not microwave safe, especially if they have metallic or decorative accents.

Handle with Care
While sturdy, glass is still fragile. Avoid dropping or stacking too tightly to prevent chips or cracks.

Store Safely
Keep your cups in a safe spot where they won’t bump or fall. Use shelf liners or cushioned storage if possible.
