Candle Questions

How long should I burn my candle the first time?

Let it burn until the melted wax reaches the edge of the jar—usually 2–3 hours. This helps avoid "tunneling" and keeps your candle burning evenly every time.

How do I trim the wick, and why does it matter?

Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn. A short wick keeps the flame steady, prevents soot, and helps your candle last longer. Don’t skip it—it’s a game-changer!

How long can I safely burn my candle?

We recommend burning for no more than 4 hours at a time. Always let the wax cool and reset before relighting.

Why is my candle smoking or flickering?

This can happen if the wick is too long or if there’s a draft nearby. Blow it out, trim the wick, and relight in a calm spot.

Are your candles safe for pets and kids?

Our candles are made with high-quality ingredients. But like any open flame, they should always be burned out of reach of pets and children.

Can I reuse the jar after the candle is finished?
